The Partition Image Tool creates a new study filled with sub-images that are copied from the original image based on the selected study template layout. New Rendered Panoramic Views can be used to view the 3D panoramic view rendered in a similar way as in 3D view but preserving the shape of the panoramic view. Rendered panoramic effect can be applied to any 3D panoramic view.
Planmeca introduces a new generic Crown Library to the 3D Implant Library in Planmeca Romexis® 3.0. Crowns can be placed onto CBCT volumes and their properties can be modified.

In Planmeca Romexis® 3D module Region Growing tool can be to approximate the area and volume of non-uniform anatomical regions. It can be used for example to estimate volumes of sinus lifts or to evaluate shape and volume of airways. The axial areas inside the ROI can also be colored so that the color of each area depends on its size.
New ROI marker tools can be used to trim the image or to select a ROI to be included to before or after areas for image comparison in Planmeca Romexis® ProFace&Surface module.

Images are captured in Planmeca Romexis® software and the cephalometric analysis can be started with just one click in the same software. The predefined analysis templates, group movement of reference points and automatic calibration make analysing fast and easy.
Create automatic superimpositions from any number of analyses and photos by freely selecting the reference points and method of superimposition: Point-Point, Point-Plane, or Point-Rotation. In addition manual superimpositions are possible e.g. using fixed structures.
Surgical simulation and creation of a Visual Treatment Objective can be easily accomplished by making predefined cuts, moving and rotating hard tissue elements. By superimposition of a lateral profile photo the predicted soft tissue changes of the surgical simulation can be visualized in a prediction image.
